Over the past several months, I have made a set of blank documents and templates for my "Create Document" menu. These are file types that I may want to make in the future, and having them at the ready makes it easier for me. Also, it fills an empty hole in the Nautilus context menu. To make it easier for my fellow Ubuntu'ers (although this should work on any  computer with Gnome or XFCE), I have zipped 'em up and posted them here for your use.

 Directions

Just unzip these in a folder called "Templates" in your home folder, and they should instantly pop up in the "Create Document' menu. To access said menu, right-click on a blank area of your desktop or in a Nautilus/Thunar window.

 Hide the Templates folder

If you don't want the Templates folder cluttering up your home folder, you can do this: make a file named ".hidden" in your home folder, and in said document list the names of all the items in your home folder you want hidden. In thise case, place the word "Templates", sans quotes, in there. Add each new folder or file to hide on a new line.

Extra Templates
